Gary S. Gillheeney, Sr.: President and Chief Executive Officer
Gary Gillheeney's career in Operations and Finance spans over 24 years. Prior to joining Organogenesis, Mr. Gillheeney held executive positions at Innovative Clinical Solutions, Ltd. as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, as well as Treasurer and Secretary. Prior to that he held positions as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Assistant Secretary at Providence Energy Corporation. Mr. Gillheeney has a B.S. in Accounting from American International College and an MBA from Bryant College.
Tim Cunningham: Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of Organogenesis, Tim Cunningham focuses on driving operations, managing growth and forming strategic partnerships. With more than 20 years of experience in finance and executive leadership, from building start-up enterprises into industry leaders, to scaling larger entities globally, Tim has helped build and develop multiple successful technology companies through their entire growth lifecycles, from early stage to IPO or sale. This includes Infinium Software, which Cunningham helped grow from an INC 500 business to a publicly traded company, and two companies that were ultimately sold on the verge of an IPO, including most recently GFI Software. Earlier in his career, Cunningham was in public accounting with KPMG in New York, followed by Price Waterhouse Coopers in Boston. A Certified Public Accountant, he holds a BS in Accounting from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
Milka Bedikian: Vice President, Global Marketing, Bioactive Wound Healing
A seasoned senior executive in regenerative medicine and pharmaceuticals, Milka Bedikian heads the global marketing program for Organogenesis’ Bioactive Wound Healing business. Prior to joining Organogenesis, Ms. Bedikian served for more than 17 years in various international roles with Novartis, including as a global brand director and global brand manager for a variety of products across a diverse range of medical areas, including wound care, women’s health, osteoporosis and channel management.
Ms. Bedikian has also led public-private partnerships, including working closely with the United Nations (WHO).
Zorina Pitkin, Ph.D.: Vice President, Quality Systems
Zorina Pitkin has over 18 years of experience in the field of biotechnology. Her range of expertise includes the development of Quality System programs and regulatory strategies for cellular therapies, biologic/device combination products, biologics and xenotransplantation. Prior to joining Organogenesis in 2008, Dr. Pitkin held senior management positions at RenaMed Biologics and Circe Biomedical.
Dr. Pitkin holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the Research Institute of Influenza, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, and an M.S. from the Academy of Chemistry and Pharmacy in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Patrick Bilbo: Vice President, Regulatory
Patrick Bilbo is responsible for Organogenesis’ Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations and Healthcare Compliance departments. He has more than 20 years of experience in the medical products industry, with a broad range of expertise in the commercialization of transformational devices, combination products and regenerative medicine therapies. Throughout his career he has held positions in regulatory affairs, clinical research and product development, and at Organogenesis has focused on successfully overcoming the unique challenges of developing living cell-based products for large scale patient use. Previously he held management and research positions at Cytyc Corporation (Hologic), Stryker Corporation (Biotech Division) and the Cell Biology Department at Harvard Medical School.
Mr. Bilbo earned his MBA degree from the Boston University Graduate School of Management, Masters degrees in Cell Biology and Technology Strategy/Policy from the Boston University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and a B.S. degree in Biology from Syracuse University.
Houda E. Samaha: Director, Human Resources
Houda Samaha joined Organogenesis as Director of Human Resources in 2005. Before joining Organogenesis, she served as a consultant to the organization on strategy, leadership and management development and organization change issues. Ms. Samaha is on the Board of InteriorTrade.com, a business to business vertical market portal for the contract interior and architectural design trades. In addition, she is adjunct faculty at Harvard Business School, a guest lecturer at both Lesley University School of Management and Simmons Graduate Management School. Formerly Vice President, Board member, and Business Team Leader for organizational change/transition programs at Synectics, Inc., her professional career has spanned the private, public and academic sectors. Ms. Samaha holds a Baccalaureate and Master's degree from Boston University in Psychology and Sociology.
