Our Mission

The mission of Organogenesis is to bring the medical marvel of regenerative medicine to patients and standardize its use in everyday medical care.

Initially our corporate mission was to "introduce regenerative medicine to the world". With over 200,000 patients treated with Apligraf^®, we feel that we have successfully achieved this goal. Apligraf^® is now the leading regenerative medicine product in the world.

However, despite widespread Apligraf^® adoption by the majority of top wound specialists in the USA, millions of patients are not receiving the benefit of any advanced regenerative medicine modalities. One particularly alarming statistic is the rising incidence of foot amputations amongst patients with diabetes. Every minute that a diabetic foot ulcer remains open is an invitation for systemic bacterial infection which leads to amputation. Apligraf^® is an FDA proven product that closes more wounds faster than good conventional care alone. Patients deserve proven medical solutions as standard-of-care.
